This Masonry Construction Excel estimating template is well designed and very easy to use, even for the beginner.
The yellow cells are the data entry cells where you simply enter the required information. For brick and block walls or foundation walls you can choose to enter the quantity as either linear feet & the number of courses or you can enter the square footage.
Openings are entered as a negative square foot number and the appropriate number of block or brick are backed out of your total.
This Masonry Estimating Template calculates the required amount of mortar, sand and grout as well as rebar both vertically and horizontally. You can choose from a variety of brick types or enter special brick types. Mortar for the brick is calculated as well. There is space for the Precast Sills, Coping, Water Tables and more.
The miscellaneous section reminds you to enter the linear feet or quantity of such things as weep, flashing, term bar, durawall, hook & eye, anchor bolts, control joint rubber, wall ties, insulation & setup costs.
